USING A PROFESSIONAL REAL ESTATE AGENT DOESN'T COST YOU ANYTHING WHEN BUYING!

My agent services are free to you as a buyer on both a resale and a new home. The seller of the property pays the commission, and in this case would be the home builder. This does not affect the pricing you receive or any incentive being offered by the builder. There is NO COST to the buyer!

In fact, it may end up costing you money to buy a new home if you DO NOT use an agent. Without an agent, you have no buyer representation as the builder represents themselves, not you, and is looking out for their interests only!

For example: The builder may try to convice you that the home backing to the busy road is a great buy by enticing you with a larger incentive. It may sound like a good deal at the time, but the builder just did you a major disservice. Homes that back to busy roads are worth much less than others and are often twice as hard to sell in a resale market.

This is just one hurdle you can run into when buying a new home on your own, without an agent by your side.
